"I'm a Christian - is it OK for me to get an abortion?"
"I'm a Christian - is it OK for me to get an abortion?"
The Church needs to understand the role of Pregnancy Resource Centers when considering her own duty in facing down murder-by-abortion in our culture. PRCs are certainly not without value, but the distinction between offering mercy services and ending abortion must be appreciated by the local church. The message of "ending abortion by supporting PRCs" has to stop. It is a wrong assumption, and we have indoctrinated millions of churchgoers into thinking they are ending abortion when they are simply buying diapers.
"It's ok to kill a baby when......."
The truth is that it is wrong to kill a baby because it's against the law of God. God is the Author of life. His Word is clear that He creates life in the womb. It is His prerogative to number all our days.
He made humans in His image, as part of His great plans.
It is a sin to murder - that is - to kill, to take away an innocent life. This alone is enough of a reason to intervene against abortion.

Things You Say To Us | in the abortion debate
Psalm 100:3
Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.
The baby does not deserve death for the sin of his or her father.
Can you tell if the babies on the sono above were conceived during rape?
Of course not.
A study done in 2000 revealed that nearly 80 percent of women who aborted their babies conceived by rape reported their abortion was the wrong solution and increased their sense of trauma.
Adding violence to violence upon the innocent is unjust and does not take away the brutality suffered during the assault.
Deut. 22:25
"But if the man finds the girl who is betrothed in the field, and the man seizes her and rapes her, then only the man who raped her shall die."
"I'm not ready to be a mother."
The truth is a pregnant woman is already a mother.
Parents are to sacrifice for their children. Children aren't to be a sacrifice on behalf of their parents' dreams. Women will never find satisfaction & fulfillment on the backs of their dead babies.
Isaiah 49:15-16a
“Can a woman forget her nursing child,
or lack compassion for the son of her womb?
Even if she could forget,
I will not forget you!
Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands...."
Abortion is not a curative intervention. It isn't necessary to abort a baby before intervening for the life of the mother.
Every reasonable attempt should be made to SAVE BOTH the mother and the baby.
In some cases, the baby may not survive early delivery, re-implantation, the mom's medical treatment, or other therapy. However, give them both a chance.
Both of their lives are precious.
Isaiah 66:13a
“As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you ...."
(Note: removal of an ectopic pregnancy, if needed, is abdominal surgery - not an abortion. No one goes to an abortion clinic to resolve an ectopic pregnancy.)
Scripture & Science both support the findings that life begins at conception.
When 2 gametes join, the baby has life, a species, a complete DNA profile & is uniquely human. Equal rights for all humans includes the humans in the womb.
If it was the mother's body, abortion
would be suicide.
It's not.
It's infanticide.
Luke 1:15
".. for he will be great before the Lord. And he must not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb."
Is poverty a crime?
Should we put all the poor, unwanted, or challenged to death?
Poverty and a challenging
upbringing do not define the dignity of an entire life.
Jesus, our Lord, was poor & homeless by the standards of the world. We would be utterly lost without Him.
With Christ, all things are possible - for a baby, and for his/her family. We are not weak in Christ, but strong. And no one can take away our joy.
Matthew 5:3
"Blessed by The Spirit are the poor, because theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven."
The Christian Response
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” - Matthew 28:18b-20
"The wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored among men." - Psalm 12:8
The fallen world is persistent in their efforts to suppress the knowledge of Christ's authority.
But by our silence - by not bringing the righteous claims of God into conflict with the sin around us - it appears like Christ’s own body does not fear His authority either.
Rather, we yield “all authority” to our courts and government, to our media and pop culture.
We have failed to “go,” in favor of staying "in" the church building.
Jesus spoke in synagogues, but He did miracles on the streets.
In fact, outside of the temple & synagogue, He: healed, found outcasts, fed, preached, taught, was fearless, had personal interactions, embraced children, forgave sins, rebuked the sin of the religious leaders of the day, displayed incredible wisdom, and called for repentance.
Jesus said, "teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you."
Love one another.
Treat others as you want to be treated.
Rescue those who are perishing.....

Christian School Grad Tells Preacher She Got 3 Abortions - YouTube
The majority of women who abort know exactly what they are doing. They are relying on their own understanding. The Church has the sword of the Spirit - it must be brought into conflict with the drift of the culture. Published by #NotAVictim.

Repentance must begin with us, with the Church. Abortion is a national sin; it is our duty to repent, confess, and move forward as the "chosen people... royal priesthood... & holy nation... to proclaim the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."
